I had an interesting issue with the vines last year. Too much fruit. How is that an issue? The vines couldn’t support so much fruit so the berries never grew larger than a dime when they should’ve been the size of quarters. They had very little juice and were not sweet at all. Overproduction its called. The reason for overproduction is too much care. I was only trying to help. Plenty of fertilizer and water, water, water! The problem is that for grapes to produce at their peak they have to struggle. They’ll be stronger for it. Roots will go deeper and vines become more resilient. Sometimes help can be toxic no matter what (or who) you’re trying to grow. Often trust is better than help. Help is the sunny side of control! Lord help me… I was only trying to help.
